Cocktails and food in London

Can anyone recommend a place in London (going to a venue on Oxford Street first) and then go somewhere for food and stay in the same place for some cocktails. Somewhere not too expensive and with a good vibe for a group of 40 year olds!

Levant on Wigmore St - really fun, delicious food and cocktails

The Alchemist, in the city- it's fun cocktails that bubble and change colour and smoke, and similar trickery with the food but very reasonably priced. They have them around the country now but the London city branch is v cool inside and just under the gherkin if you want to see some nice sights. The Duck and Waffle restaurant is super high up opposite, they're open all night for drinks and that's very fun and an experience in itself

Senor Ceviche in Kingly Court is lovely too. It's a courtyard full of restaurants and bars and twinkly lights, and the food in Senor Ceviche is delicious, as are the cocktails. Kingly Court is less than ten minutes from Oxford street
