It's tomorrow night. Adults need to be dressed up (I assumed it was kids only).

Any suggestions that don't involve buying a whole new outfit would be much appreciated!

Someone I know went as a ventriloquists dummy. If you google it you get the idea.
Dress smartly with a bow tie, shirt/jacket or cardy. Hair side parted etc.
It was really good!

Black cat. All black, a bought or constructed tail (stuffed black tight and safety pin). Alice band with cat ears (again bought or made).
Eyeliner pencil sacrificed for whiskers etc.

Zombie. Old clothes sacrificed for shredding. Make up accordingly

Witch (if you can find a hat). I did this, black dress, glittery or fishnet tights. Classy makeup or for much green eyeshadow.

I've gone on the assumption you'll barely find a spooky mask in the shops now.

However, thinking about it. Christmas is in store now? Santa, elves? The grinch?

Do you have some opaque black tights to make a spider costume?
Take two pairs. Stuff the legs with newspaper, knot them together and safety pin to back of black t shirt. Wear all black.
Even better if you attach the legs on each side to some string and loop round a finger so your ‘legs’ move in unison.

Day of the dead, Mexican style.

Big skirt, little off the shoulder top, great face painting and flower garland head band. Done.
