Can you/do you reheat fish and chips?

REALLY fancied fish and chips today. Drove a few miles to the nearest decent chippy. Asked for small fish and chips. £7!!

Got home, and it's massive. No way can I eat it all. I hate food waste. But I can't imagine it being at all nice reheated.

Such a waste of food and money to throw half away though.

The DC will eat reheated chips from the chip shop but I think they taste awful. Sorry-no help!

Having eaten half of it, I can't think if anything worse. I'm absolutely stuffed, and gave a layer of grease coating my lips and mouth. As ever, the first few mouthfuls were amazing. It's gone in the bin. I won't be doing it again (for a few years, til I get the next craving!)

I think it was for the best. Although I may have put some on the bird table.

Very often the idea of Fish and Chips isn't as good as the reality.

I reheat them, because like you, I find a standard portion too big. They're OK. Not as nice as when fresh, but worth it to me.

Or first time round, I just eat the fish and a few of the chips and then I make the rest of the chips into an omelette, which is just like a Spanish tortilla, with the potatoes cut slightly different.
