Business idea: low calorie hot chocolate but pumpkin spice flavour

Any takers?

Apparently you can get Options in salted caramel, orange flavours etc but aren't they missing a trick here?

I love a PSL at this time of year, but they cost over three quid and contain a truckload of sugar.

Imagine Brenda's face when I whip up my own slimming friendly insta popular drink in the office, it'll beat her Prosecco Gummies into fucking oblivion.

Options is vile on its own in my opinion but PSL is disgusting.

Oh god does anyone like PSL? I assumed it was novelty!

Sad to be missing out now but it's just a weird taste to me

Low calorie hot chocolate isn't nice, no matter what flavour you put in it. Way too watery.

Er, no thank you. I'm still traumatised from the time I ordered a hot chocolate in a cafe and was given a fucking options with that cream on the top that turns to air in about three seconds. Totally unacceptable.

I'd rather have nothing than drink that shite.

AwdBovril · 01/11/2019 08:52

Pumpkin Spice hot chocolate, latte etc - yuck.

Artificial sweeteners in hot drinks (in fact in most things) vile. Just get used to having things less sweet. The palate adapts pretty quickly once you commit to it.

Foslady · 01/11/2019 09:22

It’s probably because you’d need that much sweeter in it would turn bitter, plus the sales life would mean not worth the effort - sorry!

LoyaltyBonus · 01/11/2019 09:25

It's only this week that I've realised Pumkin Spice is a flavour, I thought it was some new drug of choice!

What actually is it? It can't be actual pumpkin in hot chocolate?

Stravapalava · 01/11/2019 09:26

I make options with about 20-30ml of blue milk. I make the powder & milk into a paste and then top up with boiling water. Much nicer with not too many more added calories. To make flavoured hot chocolate, I just use coffee syrup in it.

BarbaraofSeville · 01/11/2019 09:33

Cinnamon, ginger, cloves and nutmeg apparently.

I suppose if you wanted such a drink, you could get some nice hot chocolate and put some of this in it. The spices actually sound nicer when the pumpkin isn't mentioned, that sounds rather offputting to me.
