PSA - In my opinion Essie nail polish is not worth the time and effort.

I put it on, on Sunday evening, watched TV for a few hours, went to bed and by lunchtime on Monday it was chipped.

Can someone please recommend a nail polish that lasts longer than twelve hours.

I think it’s all about the top coat. Seche Vite top coat, 2 coats on top of whatever polish I wear seems to make it last nearly a week.

I agree it's the top coat. I can put the cheapest nail polish on and it'll stay put with a decent top coat. Seche Vite is quite good but the best one I've ever used is HK Girl. Bloody impossible to get half the time though.
