Best place to live Portugal/Algarve

We are looking to move to Portugal, DH, myself and two DC. We can speak the language just looking for recommendations of best place to live. Plenty to do, good schools etc, thanks

I live near Tomar, in central Portugal. Beautiful town, safe and not too touristy but no idea about schools. Will you be working here?
