If you play the guitar what's your favourite tune?

My DS (20) plays (he's been having lessons for a year) and enjoys the technical side of the cords and getting three notes in half a second .

I now listen to music and think "Cool guitar rift" ( for I am old)

I played him Don Henley "Boys of Summer" which has a very distinctive guitar intro. (One of my favourite songs)

What can you recommend for him to search up?

I don't play the guitar but my boyfriend does. If your son plays acoustic, I would recommend looking into Ben Howard, Ziggy Alberts, Jack Johnson, Kim Churchill and Xavier Rudd :)

I always play the Black Dog (led Zeppelin) riff to warm up and get my fingers doing what they should do. And Little Wing intro (Jimi Hendrix) if he wants a really rewarding challenge

I actuallly have no idea what music my DS is into , so it is quite interesting when he chats on about Jimi Hendrix . ( as a guitar legend , but I could not even think of one of his tracks )

He is watching John Mayer a fair bit
