Getting out of Manchester Arena at end of concert?

I’ve not been to Manchester arena for donkeys years and I’m trying to plan trains home so just wondered if anyone knew how long it takes to get out of the arena when the performance is finished? I’m just picturing gridlock inside when thousands of people get up to leave 😂 thank you!

Which side is your seat on?

I went to a concert there a few months ago, took us 20 minutes to get out.

Our seats are in one of the front floor blocks.

Can you leave 5-10 minutes before the scheduled end? Or at least get up and stand by the doors ready to make a dash for it as soon as the performer stops?

I find these arenas to be incredibly well designed for getting out of after a concert. Think fire evacuation - all the doors opened simultaneously and plenty of security staff to direct and chivvy!

If I remember rightly from the floor area you exit at the rear and have to go up a flight of stairs. If you are near the front you could find yourselves in a bottleneck. I usually make a run for it just before the end. Or you could wait a while until the masses have gone.
