Baby was born 1 week ago after 5 days of labour, one failed induction and a 90 Min long c section (that's how long I was left "open" as the previous one was an extremely botched one).
Got discharged within 36hrs.
I had a but of a meltdown at home (but I can see with hindsight that DH and I were both at fault), but things were all sunshine and unicorns within 24 hrs.
So now I can walk okish, pain comes and goes, dressing is gone.
I'm expressing and my nipples are sore beyond belief, thinking of giving up every now and then.
Ridiculous as it sounds I even have a sex drive!
I feel more in love with my DH than before and life couldn't be any better. The only thing I'm bummed about is that his parental leave ends on Sunday. I wish we could have more days together of just being the three of us and the dog and the cat.
