Cheapest place to re-heel shoes and boots?

I have about four pairs that need doing but Timpsons don't publish their prices online and when I go in store it always seems to be about £14 per pair which just seems so expensive!

Surely there are some cheap cobbler brands I'm forgetting??

I go to the cobblers in my local in door market and they charged me £7 to re heel my sparky stilettos Smile

This is one of those things where the local independent in the market or high street is likely to be the cheapest.

I can't think of any chains except Timpsons, and you're right that Timpsons often seem expensive, but maybe that's what it costs these days - I paid £10 to have links taken out of my watch strap there, but I paid it because I was stood in front of the stall in the local shopping centre and I CBA walking away and looking elsewhere for the possibility of saving a couple of quid, or not as the case may be .
