We are going to stay near Torpoint for a long weekend this week, to catch up with friends. My DC are miffed with me, as this has been a fairly last minute arrangement and they will miss our village bonfire/fireworks. They are creatures of habit.

Does anyone know if any low-ish key bonfire night events this coming weekend around Torpoint-Cawsand/Kingsand-Looe at a push? We’d rather not go back into Plymouth. Thinking scouts/cricket club scale, not a big affair. Thanks

St Nicholas School fireworks 1st (Downderry) might suit?

FlibbertyGiblets · 28/10/2019 11:50

Actually if you search for fireworks Torpoint or whatever you'll pull up a few.
Have a great time.

Meant to say search on Facebook. Sorry!

Found it! That looks great. Also one in Looe in Saturday, so we may end up going to 2!

Ah Mousehole is fabulous, but nearly 100 miles further south than we’ll be.

FlibbertyGiblets · 28/10/2019 22:24

Not Hooray because Mousehole is 100 miles away though

BikeRunSki · 28/10/2019 22:37

Hooray for Cornwall, fireworks and old friends!
