Can anyone help please!!

Im a total novice in sorting out holidays and breaks. I need to take my DD away for a night. Tomorrow is pretty much the only day! Im looking at a city break UK (Bristol /Birmingham or near the sea?!). Need a central location, safe.
Bonus points for anything we can do together that's creative, fun, or unusual (art courses, theatre?)
Can anyone help please!

If you only want one night then you literally just need to book a Premier Inn in whatever city you fancy.
If you choose birmingha there is the cadbury world tour (okay but not fab) the biggets primark is there and you can get disney characters printed on tshirts with words of your choosing, cooks moors leisure pool for a swim and more.
Here is a link to stuff to do in birmingham.

Youth Hostels have 25% off city breaks at the moment www.yha.org.uk/special-offers/hot-deals and have private rooms as well as dorms.

I'd go to Bristol, so much to do around the harbour area like We the curious, the M shed, SS Great Britain and inside the M shed is the aardman animation exhibition about the making of early man. There are also crafty workshops this week at the Zoo for half term.

Stratford upon Avon. Do the RSC tour if you can. Do the hop on off bus tour to all the Shakespeare- y places. Culture, lovely countryside, nice eateries. The Stratford is a nice hotel right in the centre of town. Or the Waterways Premier Inn. There are lots of lovely b&bs there too.
