Please help me clarify my question - Google keeps sending me to palm readers!

I've noticed that the lines in one palm have darkened. Just the one hand, just 2 lines of that hand, and I haven't noticed it in any other folds of skin. I'm white and the lines are a burnt orange. (I don't use fake tan and my hands are clean). I'm curious what could cause this but my Google search leads me to palm readers.

I typed

Orange lines on palm of hand

Result one says excessive intake of carotenoids or lycopenemia a harmless skin condition caused by ingestion of red foods.

Disclaimer I am only a googler not a doctor.

Thanks moobar, I should have said I did also get that. It didn't make sense to me as a Google diagnosis though when I read about it. Surprised there weren't more possibilities. Perhaps I SHOULD just get my palm read!
