Ryan's toy review

Anyone else who has a kid aged about 3-7 like me is surely familiar with Ryan toys review and his family on YouTube. I know this is not important in the slightest but curiosity has got the absolute better of me and that kid does not look biologically related to either parent or his younger twin sisters!
The dad is Japanese and the mum is Vietnamese and yet Ryan looks hawaiian! Yet he's not adopted supposedly.

This is meant to be lighthearted as I said I know it's not important at all, just that I watch a fair amount of it with my child over the last 3 years and it has always crossed my mind, anyone else noticed this? Lol.

Mine watch it but I’ve never noticed as I’d rather scrape my eyes out with a blunt pencil than have to watch with them

brasstactical I wish I could get away with not paying attention to it but my ds5 is constantly saying "look mummy, look what he has!"

He is so annoying !! I noticed in Asda the other day a small range of Ryan's Toy Review toys !! Not the ones he reviews but his own line !! They are exploiting that kid for millions !

My 6 year old loves watching them although she seems to be more into Tiana nowadays 🙄

I agree he doesn't look like his Dad but he is his Mum's double!

My 5 year old loves Ryan's Mystery I quite like it too! Hes really cute

Oh yes I've seen the toy range in Smyths toy stores, the prices are ridiculous for some of the products!

He angers my dd so much she shields her eyes from the monstrous display of his face in our local toy shop.

I think he probably just looks more like his Mum and Emma and Kate look more like him... I'm sure I read somewhere the parents met at college.

I really don't like what they do, Ryan was about 3 when they started - it must be grim growing up with a camera in your face for the world to watch you go about your daily business.

Don't get me started on the full clothing/bedding/toy range which seem to take pride of place in all the videos - one way bring on an inferiority complex amongst siblings!

That aside- it was ok when they were doing toy reviews but his latest videos are just horrendous - dear Lord, his mother's voice 😖 They're making it about his family now, butbthats not why people watched in the first place!!

The whole family can suck it as far as I’m concerned. The mum’s whiny, nasal voice! “Ryyyyyyinnnn”

They are making it about the whole family so they can keep it monetized. There's a plan to de-monetize channels which are solely about children.

My local Smyth's Toys have a Ryan's Mystery Egg for sale for €50 that contains 5 small toys worth about €10 in total

I personally find him annoying but my kids love him. I think with the whole influencer generation, we're going to see a lot more of this exploitative crap in future

I hate this show, DS loves it, although I often get when can I get a YouTube channel/this shite Ryan is promoting/his on line of shite.

DS got an awesome school report last year after really struggling and we said he could have a treat of his choice. He chose a Ryan's egg, on offer for £20, a keyring, stickers, plastic figure, mask and I think some other tat Christmas cracker standard), worth about a fiver.

DS turns into a raging brat whenever he watches Ryan. I've had to block it, no idea why it happens.

There's a similar show I can't remember the kids name, he does it with his dad and they seem much more down to earth and always state in the videos that the kid donates the toy after the review to charity.

You would think they've earned enough money now to let Ryan 'retire' and possibly salvage the rest of his childhood.

I hate that Ryan with a passion. Thankfully DD has gone off it and now every time she sees a video on you tube with him she says not that fricking Ryan. I don't know where she picked that up from.

Nogods I think the other channel is Turbo Toy Time? I actually like that one.

Ryan's Mom's voice is unbearable. "Good job Ry aaaaaaaan" but I find myself watching it anyway
