Last week I had a treadmill test to investigate some mild chest discomfort/ tightness. I was convinced that it would confirm angina as the discomfort definately but not always starts with exertion or stress ( a textbook symptom), don't really get any other symptoms of note apart from occasional palpatations. Generally it goes within a couple of seconds on its own. I am quite active and live at the bottom of a hill so maybe wouldn't have otherwise noticed it. But sods law get on the treadmill and walked faster than I have done in months up a 16% incline for 9:13 minutes and absolutely nothing, no symptoms whatsoever
. According the technician did quite well ! Consultant present said no evidence of any lack of blood to heart muscle but blood pressure high. Gp has now phoned with results as he is at loss what to do. Asked me what I wanted
I said I'd like to know what was causing the symptoms so he's agreed to refer me on. Just wondered if anyone else had similar investigations with a normal result ?
