My 40th in December in the uk - any suggestions?

Hi

I'm 40 in December.

I just want a nice weekend away in the uk. Anywhere is an option. Just a two or three night break.

I am looking for a nice boutique hotel if possible and in a nice town with places to eat and drink.

He only place I don't really fancy is london but that's probably because it's so expensive and I don't really know the areas to stay or anything.

But open to suggestions.

Can anywhere recommend somewhere lovely please?

its not a boutique hotel, but sopwell house in hertfordshire is fab. it has a great spa, and the food is amazing. st albans, the town it is in, is lovely too and has restaurants and bars x

It’s not really boutique but Crieff Hydro is absolutely amazing- beautiful rooms, a Victorian spa and the food is gorgeous!
