Can anyone explain to me how the childcare element of universal credit works? Do you need to apply for universal credit first and the have an assessment period where you pay the full fees and that is how they work it out?
Do they pay the money to you or directly to your provider.
I am very confused. Is it always 85% of your fees or is there a maximum number.
If anyone can help me I would be grateful as I am trying myself up in knots.
