Are all radio stations playing Dance Monkey almost on a loop?

Or is it just Dublin? Honestly about half of my journeys have Dance Monkey, it's always on. I don't mind the song, it's just way too frequent and, tbh, it's not THAT special.

Every time I get in the car that bloody song is on the radio

It’s Ed Sheeran and Shape of You all over again

BlackAmericanoNoSugar · 18/10/2019 13:40

Ed Sheeran's Perfect was even worse, and I hated that, I couldn't stand to listen to it. It once came on Spin, so I changed to FM104 and it was on there too, so I changed to 98FM. Guess what played on 98FM ten minutes later? Hmm

Yes, constantly.
What music style/genre is this song...? Sounds like 30's dance hall to me...

Radio 4's not. Although the JRM interview just now was pretty irritating.

I haven't heard it, it's not been or 5 live. Or maybe it has as I wouldn't recognise it anyway.

PickAChew · 18/10/2019 13:52

6 music isn't.

BlackAmericanoNoSugar · 18/10/2019 14:29

For those who aren't sure that they've heard it, or have been living in a cave on a remote island in the middle of the Pacific.

Yes it is but I was just reading about her (as was like WHO IS THIS PERSON after endless radio play) and she is/was a busker so more power to her elbow and may she make a fortune.

wendz86 · 18/10/2019 14:33

Don't think i've heard it before. I listen to heart radio usually.

NoEntryIntoTheMind · 18/10/2019 14:35

DH has been playing this on loop for about three months. Its a bloody ear worm. But I like that she is a busker and I hope she does well (or brings out more records so we don't have to have the same one played over and over).

BlackAmericanoNoSugar · 18/10/2019 14:39

I quite like the video. It makes a change from female singers wearing as little as possible, and there's a lovely crocheted blanket too. Pop should have more crochet, more quilts too. Grin

First time I've seen the video, not a bare arse cheek in sight, how refreshing!

thenewname · 18/10/2019 15:03

Aw, just looked her up properly and yes, I feel it's great female artists are finally starting to say: yes, I can wear a flipping tracksuit like male artists and still produce great music. I mean if you want to wear a spangly leotard, crack on, but it shouldn't be a default and I think so much management pushed it on so many women.
