Can I use Lurpak from a tub to make shortbread?

Or will it be horrible? I really want to make shortbread and I've got everything, except enough 'proper' butter (a block). I would go to the shop but it's a proper mission with toddler DS and I just can't be arsed right now 😬

It'll probably be nicer than using salted butter

I use it and it comes out lovely

Great thanks, have made the dough, it's just chilling in the fridge. Hopefully it turns out ok!

What's your recipe?

I just googled for one and used this. It turned out delicious! I do have measuring cups though which helped. I put the oven on 170c

The trouble with home made food is that then we eat too much and get fat! I bought a bread making machine but I've stopped using it because we eat too much delicious bread! I daren't make short bread.
