Anyone not have a system number on birth certificate?

I'm applying for my DD's 30 hours childcare funding and need the 'birth certificate system number' for the form.

I've looked at images of birth certificates online and know that this is meant to be at the bottom left corner, but it's honestly not there on DD's certificate.

Has this happened to anyone else? How did you find out the number?

Have you tried contacting the registrar office?

I will try the registrar, but was just wondering if anyone else had had the same problem...

My 9 yo certificate has one but not my 12yo, I assumed it was was something that was introduced between them. I needed it to change who gets the child benefit

I called the registry office and they gave the number to me over the phone. Crisis averted!
