Last holiday before baby #2 - city break or Uk seaside?

Due beginning of June.

If flying to do a city break (what DH would prefer to do), it would be March time we go.

If Uk seaside cottage break we could possibly go a bit later.

What would you do?

He’s saying do city break because we can easily do seaside holiday later in the year with the new baby and we probably won’t fancy flying with 2 young ones for a while.

Is he right?

Beach. City breaks with DC that age are pretty pointless in my experience.

I'd agree with him. But pick a city break that has some good stuff for DC1 too. I always fancied Barcelona for a child friendly one as it has the beach.

The only thing that puts me off the city beach is March- you'll have to go quite far south in Europe to get guaranteed sunshine. We went to Eurodisney in March and it was bloody freezing and quite miserable.

A city break isn't ideal with a 3 year old.
