Buying from Carphone Warehouse vs directly from Apple

Not really sure where to post this so please redirect me to the right forum if there is one!

I'm looking to buy the iPhone 11 Pro - just the phone only, no SIM. I intended to purchase it from the Apple store online, but it's telling me that it won't be delivered for 2-3 weeks if I do this. I'm a bit reluctant to spend £1000 on a phone already, but to then not even have it for another 3 weeks just seems ridiculous to me.

It's supposedly in stock with Carphone Warehouse with free next day delivery. I've never bought from them before - is there anything I should be aware of? I'll have the phone insured separately but my main concern is if something goes wrong, I assume Apple would help to fix it whereas I'm not sure what situation I'd be in if I bought from Carphone Warehouse?

Thanks in advance!

It can be fixed under warranty by either CPW or Apple if you buy from CPW. I’d buy from either , if you’re going SIM free.

Thanks, Prosecco. Think I will go ahead and purchase from CPW then!

Check CPW guarantee. We always buy electronics from John Lewis - not only do they price match but also a 3 yr guarantee as standard. If your phone breaks under a year old, Apple will sort it out regardless of retailer. Over a year old Apple will probably charge you but the retailer might take responsibility depending on their T&C.

Agree with @PandaPaws99 - John Lewis.
