I need some inspiration as its my birthday as well as Christmas and I don't know what I want! Grin I'm thinking maybe one of the new Harry Potter Pandora charms but that's as far as I have got....

I want some nice Lakeland/hobbycraft baking stuff as I make a lot of cakes and I would be good to have some interesting bits.

Also some new trainers

Id like one of those scholl pedi things. I have in the past actually pointed at it in a shop and told DH ' I really want one of those, it's even on offer' he forgot all about it !! But he's generally good at present buying.

I'm also after a good travel pillow, I've seen one I like and after discussing it with a friend, have a feeling she's going to get me it for Xmas, but if not I'll buy my own.

The main things I ask for however are ferrero rocher, candles and bubble bath. You can never have enough of any of those in my opinion and they are fairly inexpensive so I don't feel bad asking for them!

A new animal print scarf. I love mine but it has literally been worn to death and I've had to throw it away. Gutted as it went with nearly everything in my wardrobe and was good at hiding the jelly belly!

A new insulated mug. My contigo one is 4 years old and for some reason has a funny taste/smell, no matter how much I clean it.

The usual candles of course, can never have enough candles!

I'd also like an annual membership to our local zoo! In laws did this for us when Dd1 was younger. I'd also like an annual membership to the local farm attraction place too but I really don't think we'll have tine to make use of both.

I don't get (or rarely) get anything from Family (poor me!). I always buy myself what I want!!!

I’m not asking for anything - I’m an adult.

AutumnRose1 · 11/10/2019 19:53

I'm asking for Christmas threads to stay on the Christmas board.

missmouse101 · 11/10/2019 19:56

I don't want anything. I'm not a child. I prefer to choose my own things. Actually some solitude would be what I'd wish for.

DappledThings · 11/10/2019 19:58

A donation to charity. I hate presents.

Some stackable bracelets. Because Im a child apparently 😁

Actually this year I'm trying to think of a tactful way of asking DH not to buy me something. Those Guylian chocolate shells. He's been trotting them out every birthday and Christmas for 3 or 4 years now and I don't like them. I've never liked them or asked for them yet he's managed to convince himself they're my favourites. It seems churlish because he'll get me something else as well but I can't face the thought of spending another Christmas desperately exhorting everyone else to "dig in" so I don't have to eat them all.

I just ask for gin and nice chocolates. I like to choose my own clothes, accessories, technology etc so designating such items as presents when I have to wait until an event to receive them and either specify the item or risk getting the wrong one isn't a treat to me.
