Would this be suitable for a 8 year old girl (birthday present)?

Please help me decide. My DD will be 8 soon and hasn’t asked for anything in particular so I need to get a surprise. I thought something like this would be nice as she could use it as a mirror and she also LOVES art. I’m a bit worried that it might be too small though. What do you think, does it look like it’s for younger children?

It looks too young for an 8 year old, I think. What about a proper easel and some art supplies?

Looks too young. I agree with PP

I would say too young for an 8yr old. It’s something I’d my 2 1/2 yr old

Definitely too young for your average 8 year old. I find they're very keen to show how "grown-up" they are at that age and would say this is "too babyish".

Yes looks like something for 3-5yrs

Too young, as Bertrand said maybe a proper easel or some nice looking supplies.

Sorry- my link didn’t work. It’s an easel with draws and a ton of painting and drawing stuff.....

I also think too young.

No. It's not for children who enjoy art, it's a plastic dressing table so that girls can be socialised to think that their appearance is the most. Important thing.

Buy the poor girl a sketchbook and some good quality pencils or paints instead.

Far too young. Buy her a desk/dressing table is she genuinely would like one (a real one that is!)

That's what we did for my daughter who turned 7 last year. It has a mirror but is also deep enough to sit at it and do her homework.

Thanks for the input and ideas everyone
