Books for 6 year old to read himself - any recommendations?

My son is 6 (Year 2), he would love some books he could read on his own when he is bored but I think they need to be pretty simple so as not to put him off! He's made his way through most that we have at home.

He loves Harry Potter which I read to him but it's too advanced for him to read by himself. He also enjoyed Treasure Island, Wizard of Oz and Gulliver's travels (abridged Ladybird reader versions), and some of the more simple Roald Dahl ones. Most of these I read to him but he read bits of them himself.

Can anyone recommend anything simple that he might like?

Ds loved the Treasure X series when he first started reading for himself. Books are short and simple and there are lots of them in the series. He’s also enjoying Geronimo Stilton and Sea Quest if you wanted something a little longer.
