I'm sick and want sympathy

I have a horrendous stomach bug. I've vomited 5 times in the last 2 hours. I can't even keep water down.
It's also coming out if the other end and immodium isn't helping because I throw the immodium up.

So of course I'm off work. But so is DS2 (he's the one who gave me the bug) I just want to sleep but DP has taken the older two to school and has a few errands to run, so it's just me and the 4 year old.

Said 4 year old is appalled at the thought of napping.

I don't wanna be a grown up. I want someone to come take care of me.

Oh lord OP sounds horrendous. I’m home sick too- no where near as bad and fortunately my 2 year old was well enough for nursery!

Right 4year old guess what...a whole day of CBeebies, your toys on the floor and snack food !!!

Ah don't take the immodium, you want the bugger flushed out. Keep it in case your bowel stays upset afterwards and needs bringing into line.

TV and sofa day today, will your bloke be back at some point so you can go to bed?

I've put on YouTube and randomers opening paw patrol toys (why is that even a thing and why are kids obsessed?)
We are in our PJs, and snuggled up on the sofa.
DP should be back in a couple of hours so I'll be able to sleep then.
I just wish I could spend more than 10 minutes off the toilet for one reason or another!
I'm sipping water, but it's not going well.

You poor thing, you have all my sympathy. Is your DS over the bug now? Hope the rest of your family don't get it!

Have you any peppermint tea? It is really good for helping settle your stomach.

DS is over the bug. It only seems to last 24 hours so that's at least a bonus.
I've slept since DP came back at 11. I'm still exhausted.

Hope you can just stay in bed for the rest of the day, and that you're fine tomorrow ( you'll probably be half a stone lighter, if that's any consolation!).

Bloodybridget if I haven't lost at least a couple of pounds I will be fuming.
