What happened to McDs Bacon and Egg bagels?

First world problems I know, but does anyone know why McDonalds in the UK no longer have bacon and egg bagels on the breakfast menu?

The sausage version is still there, but bacon has disappeared. And I want one!!

You can still get them, there is an option to swap the sausage for bacon.

Thank you, that's good news! But still a bit weird they've removed them from the actual menu.

They just didn't sell well. It might be ten or twenty over a full breakfast period (in my store).

This was on the menu at our drive thru last week and I ordered it to be told that they didn't sell them anymore! But they offered to substitute the sausage with bacon.

@QuestionableMouse Thanks, that figures. I never liked anything on the breakfast menu until I discovered these. I clearly just have very different taste in McDs breakfast items to the rest of the UK 😁

You can always ask but depending on stock availability we can't always make things. The bacon has changed recently anyway.
