I’m never in charge of Sunday dinner, dp does all the cooking but I’m stepping up as he’s working.
I ordered a lovely beef brisket. I’m thinking in the absence of any better ideas that I’ll do pulled beef in some nice buns (dd will make those).
What would you do with it?
I can cook, he just loves it and does the majority of it!

Sounds good. Roasted veg?

The classic recipe for brisket is pot roast and autumn and winter is the perfect time of year for it.

Chunkily chopped veg - onions, carrots, parsnips - in a big casserole with the brisket on top and add beef stock and red wine. Serve with savoy cabbage - and yorkies if you're extra hungry.

Do what cwg said, easy and delicious

We had it pot roasted not that long ago so I was keen to try something else.
It is nice that way though, especially when you’ve got a good bit of brisket with the fat on as it makes a brilliant gravy - I’m feeling hungry already!
