Hello.

I am looking for gift ideas for my nieces and nephews. I have recentely moved away and do not really know what their interests are anymore. I have asked their parents but apart from money not really getting any ideas. I want to put a bit more effort in than just money. I am on a budget this christmas and as there are 9 children I am struggling. I am hoping to do household gifts on a budget of £20-£30 per household. The Households consist of:

Household 1

Boy - 11 years
Girl - 9 Years

Household 2

Girls aged: 13, 8, 7, 5

Household 3

Girl, 4
Boy, 6

Household 4

Boy, 1

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Don't do household gifts the age range is too great and you will just end up getting stuff that they probably have.

£10 each attached to some chocolate. Cash is king- people have too much cheap unwanted crap enter their lives at Christmas.

I’d go with cash too. I know it doesn’t feel as personal or if you’ve given it thought but I think it is better environmentally.

Any child over 10 years = cash. Seriously once they are over about 7 or 8 all the fun goes out of buying them presents, speaking as an Auntie.

Trawling the shops looking for a dinosaur set or something Hello Kittie related is fun. 'I'd like cash as I want an iPad' is not.
