Hello, don't think there's a bird keeper section so thought I would ask here. I have two Kakariki birds living in a wooden aviary in the garden. They have had a lovely summer and seem to be doing ok in the cooler weather, but I need to know the best way to keep them alive and healthy in winter, outdoors in the UK. They have a wooden nest box they sit in which is full of hay and they snuggle down together overnight in there. Any advice on heaters or insulation come the bad weather please?
