What little things in life make you happy / enjoy.

On a Friday afternoon I like going to the library for an hour to just sit and read my book before I pick DD up from school. If I'm in the library I don't get sidetracked like I do at home. I really enjoy that hour.

Waking up before everyone else and having quiet time to drink tea in peace and then the faces of my children coming downstairs and snuggling

It's frightfully rare... but I love an evening to myself in a tidy house with a few of my favourite TV shows lined up. Maybe with an incredibly indulgent unhealthy meal that DH would turn his nose up to...
Or a blistering hot bath with book or netflix
Or one of those Sundays where everything comes together - not much housework, maybe clean sheets, walk in the Forrest and a roast with all the trimmings and then a film on the sofa finishing up at about 9.30

My cats make me so happy. When I start my drive home from work I feel this overwhelming rush of excitement that I'll see them in ten minutes

I also love the sea. It's the first thing I see in the morning when when I wake up and yet it looks different every time.

I love my son or my hubby laughing. I just love seeing them happy. My son has the most gorgeous, cheeky and infectious laugh.

I love that the simple things make them happy.

I also love a Friday night after my son has gone to bed and my hubby back out to work. He buys me a big fruit and nut and ice cream. I just lie on the sofa munching junk food.

Sunshine...touches the whole day with a sparkle of magic

After a damp start this morning we went for a drive out when the sun came to our favourite lake to just chill and watch the wildlife on the lake, swans, ducks, geese.. Magic
Then we took a drive through the N Yorks countryside...stunning.
