Probably know the answer already but... 36 weeks 3/5 engaged. When to expect labour?

This is my second baby but my first was born 9 years ago and was breech.

They're giving me a sweep next week as MWs are trying very hard for me to not be induced.

You've been offered a sweep at 37 weeks? Is there any reason for this?

As for when to expect labour to begin, I always say babies never read the rule book and there is no way to know. However, at 36 weeks you could easily have another 6 weeks before anything happens. Sorry, probably not what you wanted to hear!

I'm at risk of rupture, and being induced would only put more pressured on my very much scarred uterus.

I'm being induced at 40 weeks if baby isn't here to avoid complications or another c section.

My midwife told me last year when I was pregnant with DS2 that 2nd babies tend to engage and disengage more often but at 3//5 your baby is lower in the pelvis but still above the brim. Could be a while yet I'm afraid!

My DS1 was fully engaged from 38 weeks and still was two weeks late the monkey!

Ok baby 3 now and apparently 3/5 engaged at 34 weeks but consultant said not to get too excited
