I don’t know what designer or design my dress is!

Just wondering if anyone could help me or knows where I can get help?
I have a brand new and unaltered wedding dress I want to sell but don’t know the designer or design!
Bought by ex partners mum and have since paid the cost back and received the dress due to relationship not working out but she hasn’t given me any paperwork or anything with it and it’s been hung up and away until I’ve felt ready to deal with it but now it’s too late to ask!
I know where we bought it and how much it cost but I can’t put it up for sale without a designer and make of dress.

Take photo and go in or send to the shop and ask them?

Is there a label inside ?

I’d call the shop they should have it recorded somewhere.

@Soola I don’t know how I’d phrase that, I’d feel very uncomfortable since it’s due to a failed relationship that I’m selling the dress on. Was wondering if there was a way I could find out online.
Will get hold of my best friend and my brother who both came shopping on the day too to see if they still have the WhatsApp messages from the time (long shot I know) as I no longer have WhatsApp to see if it’s in there.
@Annekipanke unfortunately not no, I was very surprised although it’s the only wedding dress I’ve ever bought so not sure what’s the norm!

@moreismore same reason aaa I’d said to @soola, what would I say? I know when it was bought but as my ex partners mum had bought it and I’ve paid her back the money I don’t have the receipts and paperwork ect.

I’d imagine the shop would be quite sympathetic to you if you were to call - I wouldn’t have thought this was the first time they’d had to deal with something like this?

Oh my goodness, it’s my lucky day! Just found the original final invoice with the receipt in my paperwork folder so now I have not only the name and design but also proof of purchase to be able to sell on. Thought I’d check on the off chance as ex partners mum was great and wondered if she’d actually given it to me at the time and she did, hurrah!
