Thank you! They are brilliant, so comfortable and easy to walk in. No more saggy baggy walking trousers for me.

Oh, that's interesting. I saw that thread and thought about buying a pair of the slim fit chino ones but I could do with losing a bit of weight so don't want to buy £££ trousers because sods law would be that I would actually lose the weight and they wouldn't fit.

What's the sizing like? Did the size you expect to fit actually fit, or did they come up big or small?

Yes they are fab! I bought two pairs of the thermal outdoor trousers; one for working outside and the other for curling, and they are great. Been wearing them now that it’s getting nippy in the mornings and the curling season has just started.
I found the fit true to size.

I bought a pair on ebay a while ago because I didn't want to fork out full price for them. They fit ok, they're a little bit long on me but I have short legs so I always roll up my trousers. I don't know how old these particular pair are but I've had them for 8ish months and I've worn them quite a bit over the summer and they're bobbling and some of the stitching is coming loose. They're a nice comfortable fit but I'm glad I didn't pay out full price for them.

Are you the poster that was going on the walk with the eligible chap? How did it go?

RaymondStopThat · 01/10/2019 12:21

That wasn't me Table, but yes it was that thread I read about them on. Cant post on it again as the advanced search facility just says 'oops' when I search it and click on the thread.

I've found the sizing spot on tbh, the leg length is a bit irritating as regular is 29" and long is 33". I could really do with a 30 or 31" length, but the 29" does come to my ankle. Will go for the long next time. No bobbling or problems with the stitching with my pair.
