Dp has just asked me and I honestly don't know what I want this year.
So what are you all hoping for?

OP posts:
FrenchFancie · 30/09/2019 19:19

I would love an Apple Watch (not a chance!)
Realistically I would ask for:
A new notebook for my bullet journal
Another lamy pen so I can use different coloured inks in each one (I have one already)
A new handbag

JassyRadlett · 30/09/2019 19:22

The new Lego Ideas treehouse, but that is both crazy expensive and quite niche....

TemporaryPermanent · 30/09/2019 19:30

What would actually be fun -
Yes organic lube
Batteries for my sex toys
Day package at Reading Lido, ideally with a big group of mates
Weekend away in Saltaire with another gang of mates
Lunch at le manoir with my only really rich friend
Private Eye annual

What I will ask for -
Neal's yard bath salts
Jennifer Egan Manhattan Beach
Ds to perform a new piano piece for me
Private Eye annual

Realistically I mean peace in my own head😀

BootLocker · 30/09/2019 19:36

A flotation pod voucher
A hand held kitchen aid
Fancy yoga mat
Hairdryer with diffuser
A £10000000 voucher for hobbycraft Grin

Stravapalava · 30/09/2019 19:39

New bike
New food processor
Hair turban towel

Random list I know.

Cherrysoup · 30/09/2019 19:45

Another horsey sweatshirt. I’ve seen the one I want. Just to make it really ‘me’, it’s in French. I’m realistic, particularly given we just replaced the kitchen from the plaster up and we’ve booked an American holiday for next summer.

I might book myself a spa day too. I loved the one I went on for a friend’s hen do.

I broke my watch on a night out so I'm hoping for a new watch and some ££ towards a Holland Cooper jacket.

ForalltheSaints · 30/09/2019 20:52

I am hoping to be able to host Christmas for my mum, who is getting older and I think might not be able to make the journey for much longer.

Shockers · 30/09/2019 20:56

I want a bamboo weighted blanket.

Winter2019 · 30/09/2019 21:03

For my baby to be born few days before Xmas 🎄 due 24th Dec

glenthebattleostrich · 30/09/2019 21:43

A warm waterproof jacket for walking the mutt.

Some new waterproof walking boots

Gin, lots of gin!

Can you tell I've just walked the dog in the rain?!

Rosere · 01/10/2019 00:12

Some sort of fitness tracker.

What I really want is a night in a hotel by myself. I love it. Room with a bath, read my kindle, put on a face mask. Sleep, all the sleeping.

I'll settle for a fitness tracker 😂

TheNestedIf · 01/10/2019 02:01

Tell you what I don't want. Another bloody hot water bottle (this will out me, if he's reading this, "Hello, DP!").

Yes, I need/like warm things.

Yes, the latest (Dalai) Llama one was quite cute and yes, I compounded the ever growing pile by buying a (Obama) Llama one in revenge as Dalai kept getting thefted off me in my sleep.

And yes, yes, I do have "WITCHETY COLD HANDS AND FEET!".

However, hot water bottles don't wear out very often and I really do not need any more.

We were up to 8 spare at one point and that's not including the ones I'd taken to work!

I've sort of got my eye on some summer shortie onesies (I love onesies) or a couple of Snow Queen Passifloras.

Gingerkittykat · 01/10/2019 02:44

Some nice smellies from Lush.

I genuinely don't really want anything else. I'm a nightmare to buy for; diabetic so don't want chocolates, not girly so don't like most smellies or jewellery, I hate flowers since I don't want dead plants, I love to read but use a kindle and I'm almost T-total.

francienolan · 01/10/2019 09:21

Books and gin always. My birthday is around Christmas though and often I'll have received book tokens then but you can never have too many lol.

I can't get enough of fluffy jumpers either.

A day with no one moaning!
