buying cheap new beds on facebook's marketplace

Does anyone have any experience of buying cheap new beds from marketplace on FB? After a couple of disastrous attempts of buying a secondhand kingsize bed for my expectant daughter I am now considering answering one of the many ads for new beds with mattress on marketplace. I know they only take the payment upon receipt of delivery but considering the price I am worried it may be that old addage of "if it seems too good to be true it probably is. Anyone have any tales of caution or indeed success?

I brought 2 beds off Facebook. Company called NIGHT KING.
Beds were nice, delivery quick. But unfortunately the wrong style of bed was delivered for my boy. That's when the problems started. I msg them asking to correct it. Every time the give empty promises. Saying it be delivered in 2-3 days. This went on fir over a month. Then the last msg they sent. Same again 2-3 days delivery. Don't worry it be sorted. Then they blocked me straight after they sent me the msg. I've contacted many people who left 😡 faces on the like button. And seems I'm not the only 1. Thankfully my boy bed Useable. Many were delivered with broken beds of parts missing. Mattress are not great quality either. Comfortable but already dipping. Baring in mind these are my small kids beds. I would not recommend buying from these companies. Seems a pattern in the aftercare, should something be wrong. Reviews are only positive ones posted too. And by blocking the negative people and deleting negative comments. It's only positive posted.

I can recommend a company called Beds 4 U on Facebook. They sell beds at good prices, deliver quickly and take cash on delivery. They have a lot of good reviews and customer pics on their page. They deliver nationwide.

Hi Don’t bother….too good to be true…. poor quality and impossible to get a hold of!
