My nephew is turning 15 and is starting to be more into fashion and clothes. Can anyone recognise what brands are
popular with his age group or even better point out some smart tops for him 😊. I am useless at this sort of thing and he actually hates going shopping so can’t even take him to do that!

Most of Dds friends seem to live in sportswear, hoodies, sweaters, joggers. Brands include Nike, Hera, Tommy Hilfiger, but also joggers from Primark and they'll happily wear fakes.

Adidas originals
Nike
Champion
Lyle and Scott
Farah
Pretty Green
North Face
DS is 15 and him and all his friends seem to wear the same stuff

North face
Nike
Champion (believe it or not it's making a comeback!)
Gucci Grin

For smart tops try Luke sport. They also have an outlet shop.

He's not really into labels except for Nike trainers. All he ever asks for so I am happy to oblige. Also he always has a Jack Wolfskin jacket when they need replacing but that's more my choice then his. Anything else I choose or suggest is fine. He can't bear clothes shopping.

Bunnybigears · 29/09/2019 22:32

Smart tops would be Lyle and Scott or Emporio Armani every day clothes would be nike, adidas, champion, under armour, illusive London. Sports Direct or JD Sports are your friends in this respect.

Nike & adidas for Trainers, footie boots, trousers, tshirts, shorts
Champion tshirt
Northface for hoodies
Lyle& Scott for jumpers/shirts
Hugo boss for polos

Expensive tastes now he's in adult sizes so he gets them mostly at xmas/birthdays!!!

Napapijri is the top brand for teen boys here, along with usual Adidas, nike etc. Luckily my 14yo son hates clothes with visible 'names' and will happily wear sainsbury's tshirts...

AuditAngel · 29/09/2019 22:50

DS (15) likes H&M

SquidwardTentacles · 29/09/2019 23:09

My DS is 16, he doesn't mind own label jeans, but likes named hoodies/tshirts/trainers. His faves at the moment at Adidas/Nike/Jordans for trainers - he got money from my parents for good results in his exams and spent over 160 on a pair of trainers 🙄 He likes Emporium Armani tees, but only has a couple due to ££s so wears his Primark t-shirts under Kings Will Dream hoodies which are fairly reasonably priced and seem popular round this way. Gucci is his ultimate but he has no chance on our budget 🤣🤣 In his ideal world he would be kitted head to toe in Gucci, Bape and Supreme but he will need to wait until someone wins the lottery 🤣
