What a waste of 48 hours. Endless bloody chores, house in chaos from building work, pouring with rain, kids (just 6 and just 3) going stir crazy and the smaller one being particularly naughty, horrible heavy period with cramps and all sorts and DH being generally a twat unsupportive.

Pile in if you need to let it all out before cracking on with the week ahead.

I’m struggling through with some kind of painful chesty wheezy cough thing and a broken down fridge.
The kids are running rings around me as my croaking has no authority.

Spent most the day redoing work stuff for this week due to colleagues making decisions in my absence. Still got hours of work to do. DH spent most the day in bed with jet lag. DS10 upset because I made him do homework and he can't work out how to update something to do with Minecraft. House looks like a tip. Still need to do washing for tomorrow.

I've got a horrendous eye infection which has had me feverish and in agony for days, but the antibiotics I need aren't safe for breastfeeding so I have to just get on with it. The weathers been awful meaning all the the older kids football matches were cancelled leaving them with farrrrr too much energy, and the baby shit on the new rug this afternoon. And I have my friend's funeral tomorrow which I would be dreading even if I wasn't ill

Yep. Mum in hospital, spent 9 hours down there on Friday just getting her admitted and observed.
Spent the rest of the weekend played catch up. Everyone did what was required Apart from the food shop. So shit lunch for everybody tomorrow but that I can live with Smile

Spent the whole weekend faffing around trying to buy a new car which we desperately need, test drove lots, thought we had made a decision but DP kept changing his mind. I just want a car, don't really care which, just want it sorted. So now he's decided that I can test drive lots more on Wednesday when I'm not at work. I like my Wednesday at home so I can catch up on housework without kids being home. I don't want to test drive anymore. I was happy with the first one we saw. Feel totally fed up with it all.
