We've just caught the end of it. Amazing racing.
But, it's 4 hours long. Did they eat a banana or anything on the way? always thinking about food.

Yes, they'll have picked up a food bag held out to them - a musette - and they then put stuff in their pockets and chuck the bag. They also have energy gels and energy drinks
