  • going to the library
  • leaving the library
  • the fact I had to slow down slightly in the buggy on a narrow bit of pavement
  • stopping at a crossing
  • something to do with a satsuma (only decipherable word)
  • the fact that I had to put her baby sister down for a nap
  • the fact that I had to get her sister up from a nap

Please share and give me the strength to get through to 7pm!

Dd hasn’t been too bad today! She’ll probably go bananas before bed now I’ve said that.

Wednesday she was the devil child though. Didn’t walk to walk
Didn’t want to go in the pram
Didn’t want to be carried Confused so I ended up sticking her on my shoulders and nearly putting my back out.
I wouldn’t let her eat chocolate at 7pm before bed so she threw her china cup of milk across the room (why did I give her a china cup ffs?!!)
I carried her wrong upstairs
Her pjs were blue instead of yellow
It was dark when she went to bed
I only read 3 stories (because I was sick of everything by this point and wanted to go drink wine in the kitchen!)
And then the obligatory I need a wee/drink/cuddle/big poo/stroke/story etc etc for half an hour.

Yay toddlers! Grin

Honestly, everything.
-having to get out of his bed after his nap

  • having to walk down the stairs
  • his 5 month old sister just existing
  • his yoghurt
  • that I put on toy story - his favourite film
  • whenever I left the room
Exhausting

Getting in the car
Being in the car
Getting out of the car
Wanting a specific drink
Being given the specific drink
Joyous indeed!

Pretty much all of my toddlers tantrums have been from me refusing junk food at various points in the day, apart from the one where I told him to pick up the toast crumbs he chucked on the floor.

He is phasing out naps and is very fucking emotional by mid afternoon Hmm

whitetoblerone · 28/09/2019 19:27

I wouldn't let him put a plastic bag on his head. How dare I not let him play with dangerous things! He's only 15mo too 🤦🏽‍♀️

DadCanIHaveAZedgie · 28/09/2019 19:29

Mine lost his shit yesterday because I offered him the imaginary headset he had just given me because he couldn't find his imaginary headset. So that was fun

I wouldn't give her quavers for breakfast.
She wanted to watch Justin's house.
She didn't want to watch Justin's house.
She wanted to go outside.
She didn't want to wear shoes.
I wouldn't let her stay in the park to touch every single tree.
Her cucumber was on the floor (because she threw it there).

My toddler TODAY has tantrummed about:

  • not being able to reach the biscuit cupboard
  • going in his car seat
  • being given orange instead of blackcurrant
  • taking his shoes off when we get home
  • not wanting to go for a poo
  • losing his motorcycle toy
  • getting out of my bedroom
  • being given yogurt instead of a biscuit

Honestly there's so much more! I've had enough today. Shock

Namechangeymcnamechange11 · 28/09/2019 21:31

Because I wouldn't let him play with the oven.

Daisychainsandglitter · 28/09/2019 22:34

DD2 had a huge tantrum this morning because she didn't like her breakfast despite choosing it from the cupboard watching me make it for her. As soon as I put it on the table she didn't want it and all hell broke loose. I'm still not sure what was wrong with the breakfast!
