Is Tinder/OLD only for extroverts? I take so long to get to know someone

I'm 29 and I've been single for the last few years. In truth I'd love to find something serious. Lots of my friends met their OHs via Tinder so I thought I'd give it a go but it's freaking me out! I really take a long time to trust people. I have a few quirks myself too, I know I don't make great first impressions.

How long? Even on hook up sites you message for a while before meeting.

Erm, weeks if not months

I’m a massive introvert and had to really push myself to go on dates. I’d be actually shaking before I went, but if you just make it a quick coffee/drink first then you don’t get too exhausted by it all and can do it in small chunks!

When I met DP we went for drinks and tapas. Ended yo getting on so well we went for a drink afterwards, then more drinks, abandoned cars and got a cab back to mine!! When you meet the right person they will complement your introversion, either with their own version of it, or by compensating like my DP with his massive extroversion!

And I’d advise against lots of messaging first, you don’t know someone until you meet them in real life, so get on with it ASAP and don’t waste time on ‘connections’ with people you don’t click with in RL.
