Friend is using a cot bumper should I warn her they are dangerous? I don't want to come across as judgemental

Hi
My friend has just posted a picture of her DD in her cot as it's her first night in it tonight but I've noticed that she is using a cot bumper. She obviously isn't aware of the risks (I wouldn't be if I hadn't seen threads on here) but how do I mention this to her without coming across as judgemental/making her feel bad for not knowing?
I don't have children myself so I feel like that's even worse and I would never normally dream of commenting on other people's parenting choices!
I couldn't live with myself if god forbid something happened and I hadn't said anything though.
So how is the best way to broach this subject?

Well done for saying something. And well done her for taking the advice and not being offended. It can be really hard to do as a new mum. I had the same issue with Grapes. My friend never cuts up her daughters Grapes from babyhood and now through toddlerhood. Her toddler walks around eating them. I mentioned it thinking she must not know. But she says children can choke on anything and she can't worry about everything! So now I know not to leave my son with her lol.

I would be offending everyone if I said anything anytime I saw someone doing something with their baby that was potentially dangerous. Headbands, dummy clips with beads on etc. Someone posted a pic the other day for her 9 month old in a forward facing car seat Shock

Well done OP

I had no idea when I was pregnant but I didn’t find one I liked anyway!

Then when I did, I started to see things online saying not to use them so that was that.
