I’ve had a Sainsbury’s credit card for years now with a large debt that im slowly but surely paying down (over £6k at its highest to just over £3k at my last statement).
I noticed ages ago that I wasn’t paying interest, estimated interest was being shown on my statement but not added on. I queried it when I first noticed and the advisor told me they didn’t know why it wasn’t being charged but wouldn’t do anything to add it back on. That was about a year ago.
Got a letter today saying they have made ‘a mistake’ in not charging interest and would resume doing so in November without backdating the charges. Just wondering if anyone else has had this or if it was a weird glitch on my account?
