Will my baby be too warm in this?

Or too cold?

I should know this by now as DD is almost 7 months old 🤦‍♀️

She’s wearing a baby gro/sleepsuit (with feet) with a bodysuit underneath (the t shirt ones)

Her room is about 22.5 at the moment but it will drop.

Her sleeping bag is in the dryer but she needs to sleep now so I was just going to put her in this until she wakes in the night but I’m worried about overheating :/

Mine always wore baby grows with feet in them and a body suit style vest under it and they were absolutely fine.
Quite a normal attire for babies.

MoodyBitch · 25/09/2019 20:37

Sometimes I would put them a cardigan on too.

Wheresmyenfys · 25/09/2019 20:41

Thanks!

She doesn’t usually wear them anymore which is a shame as she looks all squishy and adorable in them.

Both of mine would have been too cold without any blankets/gro bags.

VenusClapTrap · 25/09/2019 20:48

I’d say that’s fine. I was thinking you’d need a blanket too, but actually 22.5 is very warm.

JustLikeJasper · 25/09/2019 20:59

Sounds fine but if she feels the cold have you got a cellular blanket you could pop over her?

Tetrus · 25/09/2019 21:01

I use this a lot...

It's currently 22 in DSs room, he's wearing a sleeveless vest, footless light cotton babygro and a 2.5 tog grobag, he's nine months and admittedly only sleeps if he's cosy (even in the heatwave he wouldn't sleep without a t-shirt and 1 tog grobag), so I don't think she'll be too hot

LionelRitchieStoleMyNotebook · 25/09/2019 22:36

Sorry it's actually 21, just checked

Flightlessbird17 · 26/09/2019 10:46

I always used cotton or other natural fibers because its harder for them to overheat in it.

Wallflowermeadow · 26/09/2019 20:04

Agreed, that's pretty much the same chart I go off too.... Usually at 22 she has on a baby grow with long sleeves and a blanket and seems pretty comfortable in that!

BertieBotts · 26/09/2019 20:05

Sounds fine to me

ReggaetonLente · 26/09/2019 20:07

It's 23.5 in DD's room and she's in a flannel babygrow, that's it. She's 13 months though and has always been a hot baby!

Pepperstripe · 26/09/2019 20:20

Mines in a sleepsuit with feet, and a 1.5 tog grobag. He was in a 2.5 but woke up very hot and sweaty.
I have 2 of each tog grobag so that you're not without if it's dirty etc.
