Spending £25 in Lidl ( dull but true)

I am super budget conscious and am usually spot on with discount vouchers.
Had to do a very random top up shop after parents down for weekend. They had bought in loads of stuff aside from odd bits. So I thought I’d use the £5 off a £25 that came in the Lidl magazine.

So I bought:
2 packets of spring bulbs to plant up, a bottle of Rose wine, 3 frying steaks, sausages, family size pizza, litre and half apple juice, can of tuna, 2 bags of salad leaves , 2 aubergines, 4 large vine tomatoes, bag of bananas, tin of soup,, sunflower oil, limescale remover spray, 12 slices of Gouda cheese and 12 slices of breaded ham,

Nope, not £25 and the massive queue of people. So I ask if he’ll swipe the wine again and I’ll pick up a second bottle.....

AND ITS STILL NOT £25 ! I had to throw in some chewing gum.

That's crazy. God I love Lidl. Also Aldi.
