Any suggestions? For around £200. Many thanks.

Miele do a special pet hair vacuum.

Don't know about the price but when my Henry finally stops working I will go for the Miele cat and dog hair vacuum. My other half has one and even though it's 10 years old, it has more suction and cleaning power than my 4 year old Henry.

I’ve had a `Miele cat/dog and a similar Sebo. Both very good.

Another vote for the Miele cat and dog one.

I highly recommend getting a rubber broom to use before hoovering. It picks up most of the hair off rugs/upholstery very easily!

Shark cordless with the pet hair attachment if you have carpets!

Our Miele cat and dog one was sale price at Tesco for ages. It is fantastic. Before that we had a second hand Sebo that was an absolute beast to look at but was great for pet hair.

Shark liftaway is amazing. My dog sheds so much but it picks it all up effortlessly. Cant reommend it enough
