.....well, no I don’t of course. But fuck me, you have to admire a system that can produce a man who, when found to have acted unlawfully by the Supreme Court, says “I don’t agree with their decision”......

I know! It was a genuinely breathtaking response. I am amazed at his level of self-assuredness. What a shit head.

motherstongue · 24/09/2019 14:26

His arrogance knows no bounds and this from a parent of a son and daughter both of whom attended/attend a Public school (not Eton though). He is a disgrace.

NumberblockNo1 · 24/09/2019 14:27

Parents on here do sometjmws say they're paying for that inner confidence....

It’s a very Etonian response- although usually more charm is involved.

👏🏻

TheQueef · 24/09/2019 14:31

He doesn't need to add charm now.
He's got what he wanted.

FlyingTaxis · 24/09/2019 14:31

Guess we just have to be grateful to all the other private school educated people on the supreme court then.

boxofbabyjesus · 24/09/2019 14:32

It's astonishing, isn't it? He's Teflon coated.

KnittingSister · 24/09/2019 14:37

I reckon he's never been told no (Don't do that Boris, sit down Boris, etc), he's never failed anything (exams, driving test?) And genuinely believes that he is right and will get what he wants cos he always has (stamps feet!)

TryingAndFailing39 · 24/09/2019 14:37

I see your point and his attitude is astounding..... but there millions more private school educated people who are not that arrogant, or not even arrogant at all Shock
Can’t you just make this a Boris issue, or even a Tory issue, and not make everything you post about private education!!

Tonnerre · 24/09/2019 14:46

he's never failed anything

On his sister's account, he was deeply pissed off at not getting a First at Oxford, especially when his brother managed it. But I guess in his mind it doesn't matter anyway as he learnt superb skills in outright lying and deception.

WickedGoodDoge · 24/09/2019 15:35

But to give the flip side, both Gina Miller and Joanna Cherry were also privately educated and have given him quite the hard time. Wink

bengalcat · 24/09/2019 15:39

Tough luck Boris if you disagree - doubtless many of us have disagreed with legal decisions others have made but the clue is in the name the Supreme Court

EssexGurl · 24/09/2019 16:31

I quite liked a comment I saw at the weekend - we don’t need to get rid of all public schools, just one (Eton).

Drabarni · 24/09/2019 16:36

He's just a thick interbred slob imo.He dribbles and has a wet mouth, anyone imagine snogging that.

KnittingSister · 24/09/2019 22:14

If he doesn't like the decision of the UK supreme court, he could take it to the European union...

MsTSwift · 24/09/2019 22:17

I can’t bear to even watch him and Rees mogg in telly. Moral ducking vacuum. Makes me miss Cameron and May something I thought I would never say.

Theworldisfullofgs · 24/09/2019 22:19

Apparently Rees Mogg will be saying something in the Dsily Fail tomorrow about how the judiciary are wrong Hmm

underneaththeash · 24/09/2019 22:21

Well clearly he doesn't agree with their decision or he wouldn't have done it in the first place. What does that have to do with private schools?

viques · 24/09/2019 22:23

I think The Rise and Fall of BJ, PM will be a smash hit at the NT in about a years time. Can't wait.

Aquathest · 24/09/2019 22:25

KnittingSister GrinGrin

Tweefutom · 24/09/2019 22:28

@BertrandRussell
Didn’t you privately educate at least one of your DC?

minipie · 24/09/2019 22:30

OP didn’t say anything about “private schools” but about Eton specifically. Which does seem to produce a very specific sort of attitude.

NeverGotMyPuppy · 24/09/2019 22:32

What an utterly bizarre thing to say.

The state school system is clearly shit because, you know, it produced Ian Huntley.

You cant actually think like this, can you?

Janleverton · 24/09/2019 22:32

I don’t understand why when MPs today have said in interviews that they disagree with the judgement they aren’t being challenged on where they picked up their superior knowledge of constitutional law? Read it on a fag packet?

Ties into the whole “we don’t need experts, just a gut feel” attitude that seems so prevalent nowadays.
