Apologies in advance for small bit of TMI later in post.

Gah. Tooth out three weeks last Friday. Saw dentist Monday gone as it turned out I had an ulcer on the other side (side id been forced to eat on). He said was healing grand. Still a bit sore depending on what I wanted to eat on that side.

Had been a bit suspicious though that I still couldn't touch my face on that side.

But meh.

Only tonight I have a funny taste in my mouth and feel sick - presume from said taste. Took a look. TMI and sorry but there's yick yellow puss. And it's flipping sore.

Fml like. Heal already.

Watch it doesn't go septic. I'd get it seen to if I were you.

Sympathies! Mouth pain is the pits.

I'm so terrified of it going septic.

I'm kinda torn between hanging on til the morning and trying to see my dentist (either first thing or in the afternoon coz I have a midday apt with my pain doctor that I am NOT missing - two year wait) or to see if I can see the ooh doc tonight.

Until you can get seen, dissolve 1/4 teaspoon of salt into some boiling water, let it cool, then rinse the sore area with it. That'll help keep it clean & soothe it.

The pain 😭😢.

I had two solpadine at 10am. Then went to the dentist who obviously poked at it. Prescribed antibiotics and flushed it out.

Had to head straight from there to the hospital for an apt with my pain management doc. Which of course involved a shit tonne of talking. That was an hour and a half long.

Then had to go to the shops and the chemist.

Finally got home at 4 to take some painkillers.

The whole left side of my face is swollen up and the throbbing is unnatural and unbearable.

I didn't sleep a wink last night so I think I am going to take myself off to bed now and try for a kip whilst I pray the painkillers kick in

I have a home made pizza and triple cooked chips to cook tonight before masterchef.

It's also raining like a bitch here so my Fibro is flared to be fckd. Gah.

Fire and a drink tonight methinks!
