DS's learnings on going to girls school 6th form

DS recently moved from an all boys school, to the sixth form of an all girls school. He's settled in well and I was asking him about the differences he's noticed in the two schools.

Number one (and this may partly be a difference between sixth form study and GCSE): No bad behaviour. None...no idiots messing around.

Number two: presentation. He tells me that girls make much more of an effort in presenting their work...so he's really had to up his game

And then....most interestingly, he came up with number three: "Pervs". He was completely shocked that on several consecutive days, girls from school he was walking down the street with had had comments shouted at them...from a van, from a man walking past..and even from an old man on a mobility scooter! It sadly doesn't surprise me at all...but his shock makes me realise how normal this sort of behaviour is for women.

Yup, sounds very similar to what my brother noticed when he did the very same thing.....25 years ago. (There was also a comment about cleanliness and hygiene standards being eye-openingly higher).

Very good thing for your DS to witness.
