I thought that most of France didn't have a may half term, that's why DLP is always best to go to in that holiday.

I have no idea
What about in Germany ?

I made the mistake of going to DLP may half term week this year - it was absolutely rammed ... found out afterwards that it coincided with a french bank holiday - never again

If it's DLP it's worth looking up Benelux and CH too.

Depends on the area (Bundesland).

There are no half-term holidays but there are jours feriés (bank holidays) for May 1st, May 8th, Ascension and Pentecost (though that can be in June). If any of the days is a Tuesday or a Thursday (I think Ascension is always a Thursday and Pentecost a Monday), then people take a "pont" on the Monday or Friday. This means that there can be a lot of days off and long weekends. I was once employed to teach Mondays and Thursdays and had a lot of time off in May 😀).

Sorry should have said that is France.

TVs it’s hard to find a month of the year that doesn’t involve holidays.

Summer - 8 weeks
October / Toussaint - 2 weeks
Christmas - 2 weeks
Winter (skiing) - 2 weeks
Spring - 2 weeks.

The last school term is usually the longest, but it’s broken up in May with all the extended weekends as explained above.

THanks for the info 👌🏻Looks like May is looking pretty clear
